Bruce J. Geddes, P.E.

Founder of SES in 2006.  A senior technical consultant with over 38 years of experience in nuclear power plant engineering, instrumentation and control (I&C) technology, research and development, and engineering services. ​

Experience includes:

• Field work on digital upgrade projects at the Turkey Point, Calvert Cliffs and Oconee nuclear facilities

• Executive responsibility for Areva’s digital I&C business in North America

• Research and development of digital systems engineering methods, hazard and reliability analysis methods, configuration management methods, and digital system operating experience

• New nuclear power plant design certification activities

• Development of training materials and training nuclear power plant engineers on various digital I&C topics

Authored various papers and publications on digital I&C topics for EPRI, IEEE, ISA and ANS; a chapter in the Instrument Engineer’s Handbook; and several articles in Control magazine.​

Graduated from Georgia Tech in 1983 with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.  Maintaining a professional engineer license in North Carolina (# 045357).​
